You’ve seen God move. You’ve had moments you couldn’t explain away.Prayers answered. Doors opened. Nudges you knew were real.
So… why hasn’t anything changed?
In this episode, we unpack a deeply honest truth:👉 Seeing is not the same as responding.
Jesus speaks about three cities — Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum — places that witnessed miracles up close… and still didn’t change.
And if we’re honest? We might recognise a little bit of ourselves in them.
This episode explores:✨ Why seeing God move doesn’t automatically lead to transformation✨ How truth can become familiar… and lose its impact✨ The subtle ways we delay responding to what we already know✨ And how one small step of response can change everything
This is not about pressure. Not about guilt. But about recognising where God may already be moving in your life…and choosing not to postpone your response.
So grab your coffee… settle in…and let’s have a real conversation.

Have you ever thought you were finally over it…only to find yourself right back in fight-or-flight?
Not because something actually happened…but because your body decided:🚨 “We’re under threat.”
In this episode, I’m talking about something most of us don’t say out loud:
👉 Living in quiet hyper-vigilance👉 Always having a Plan A, B, C… and a secret backup plan👉 Looking calm on the outside… but internally mobilising like crazy
And then one night…I opened my Bible — and everything shifted.
Because what I found in Scripture wasn’t:
❌ “Try harder”❌ “Fix it”❌ “Control the outcome”
It was this:
👉 Stop managing. Start trusting.
We’re unpacking:✨ Why fear often turns into control✨ What the Bible really says about safety✨ The Hebrew meaning of “security” (this changed everything for me)✨ Why God sometimes asks us to do… less, not more
And yes…we’re also talking about what happens when your inner James Bond thinks the Holy Spirit needs backup 😄
🎧 If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying more than you should…this episode is for you.

This episode starts in a quiet, ordinary morning…
the kind where your mind is already running before your feet hit the floor.
But what if that feeling — that quiet exhaustion — is actually where God begins to provide?
In this episode of Jules4Jesus, we step into a powerful moment in 2 Samuel, where David is fleeing for his life… tired, uncertain, and in the wilderness.
And yet — God sends provision.
Not randomly. Not vaguely. But exactly what he needs.
Through people.Through timing.Through meaning hidden even in their names.
If you’ve been feeling stretched, tired, or walking through your own “wilderness season”…
this episode is for you.
✨ Because God doesn’t abandon us in the wilderness.✨ He provides there.
📖 In this episode:
What it means to feel “exhausted in the wilderness”
The surprising significance behind names like Ziba, Shobi, Makir, and Barzillai
How God provides both spiritually and practically
Why sometimes the provision is already around you… you just haven’t noticed it yet

“Am I helping… or hurting?”
That question changed the way I speak.
Because sometimes what we call “truth”is actually just being technically right…without reflecting Jesus.
In this episode, we unpack something that will challenge you gently but deeply:
👉 What if truth is not just something you say… but Someone you represent?
Jesus didn’t say, “I teach truth.”He said:
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)
So when we say,“I’m just being honest…”
are we actually speaking Jesus?
Or just our opinion — dressed up as truth?
In this episode, we explore:
• The Good Shepherd Test — will this gather or scatter?• The Fruit Test — what will this produce?• Why being factually correct is not always spiritually aligned• The powerful moment where David prayed first before acting• Why prayer must come before speaking• And how to speak truth without breaking what God entrusted to you
Because Jesus is not only Truth.
He is Love.He is the Shepherd. He restores. He gathers.
And if we leave that out…we are not bringing the full Christ.
So before your next difficult conversation…
Pause.Pray.And ask:
“Lord, let me speak You.”

For years I thought security meant harmony.
Peaceful mornings. No tension in the house.Everything flowing smoothly.
If everyone was calm… then I could breathe.
But recently I realised something surprising:
The security I was chasing wasn’t the security that actually matters.
In this episode of Jules4Jesus, I share a personal reflection on how many of us try to create safety through control, planning, harmony, or even money — while Scripture quietly points us somewhere completely different.
We look at:
• Leviticus 25 and God’s promise of safety• Deuteronomy 28 and the incredible blessings that accompany alignment• Why our nervous systems often try to control environments• How true security is found in alignment with God’s Word
This is not about rules or earning God’s love.
Grace is non-negotiable.
But alignment with God’s design brings a kind of security that no earthly strategy can provide.
If you’ve ever felt responsible for keeping everything steady around you — this episode might speak directly to you.

What if restoration isn’t the highest blessing?
In this episode, we step into the story of Job — not just the loss, not just the double portion at the end — but the deeper transformation that happened in between.
Job was blameless and upright. He pursued righteousness seriously. And yet… he suffered.
Through that suffering, something shifted.
God revealed Himself.
Job didn’t just get his possessions back.He came closer to the heart of God.
But is earthly restoration the ultimate blessing?
We then turn to the mysterious figure of Melchizedek — priest and king, appearing briefly yet powerfully in Scripture — and explore a quiet but profound question:
Is there something beyond restoration? Is there a blessing greater than abundance? Is calling — purpose — the greater gift?
This episode is for the one who is still showing up.Still making coffee.Still answering emails.Still paying the gym membership.Still wrestling.
Because sometimes suffering doesn’t cancel life. And sometimes purpose is born not in restoration —but in the wrestling.
If this speaks to where you are right now, press play.

When was the last time you slowed down — on purpose?
Not collapsing at the end of exhaustion. Not surviving on adrenaline. But truly resting.
In Episode 39 of the Jules4Jesus Podcast, we explore:
• What the Sabbath year in Leviticus 25 really means• Why Hebrews 4 says “make every effort to enter that rest”• The difference between striving and trusting• Why Jubilee is not perfection — but alignment• How to guard your heart from hardening• And what it means to let the Son — not the sun — open your dry heart
This episode is for anyone who feels busy, depleted, and still longing to hear God.
Sabbath is not about religious performance.Jubilee is not about earthly celebration.Rest is about relationship.
So exhale.
And enter His rest.

You promised God, “Never again.”And then… you did it again.
So now what?
Do you withdraw?Punish yourself?Try to earn your way back?
In this episode of Jules4Jesus, we talk honestly about what happens after we sin — even after we’ve given our lives to Christ.
Because Scripture doesn’t say what many of us assume it says.
📖 We look at:
Romans 6 & 8 — “There is now no condemnation”
1 John 1 — why claiming sinlessness shuts the door to grace
2 Corinthians 7 — the difference between godly sorrow and worldly shame
Why repentance is turning, not punishing
And how God works gold into the cracks instead of throwing the pottery away
This is not about excusing sin. It’s about understanding grace.
If you’ve ever felt disappointed in yourself spiritually…this one is for you.
Grace doesn’t disappear when you fail.It meets you in the cracks.
💬 Let’s talk:
Have you ever struggled with withdrawing from God after messing up?Tell me in the comments — what verse anchors you when condemnation creeps in?

Most of us would say, “I don’t worship idols.”We’re not bowing to statues or chasing false gods.
And yet… idolatry didn’t disappear. It just became subtle. Respectable. Normal.
In this episode of the Jules4Jesus Podcast, we talk about the idols we rarely recognise —image, control, success, children, self-improvement —and why God is very clear in Scripture that He does not accept mixtures.
Using a moment from 2 Samuel 6, we look at the surprising symbolism of raisin cakes and date cakes, Michal’s reaction to David’s worship, and what it reveals about divided devotion.
This is not a sermon. It’s an honest, coffee-on-the-couch conversation about faith, February fatigue, and the quiet ways we add God into the mix instead of letting Him be Lord.
🎧 If you’ve ever felt stuck between devotion and control…If “new year, new me” is already wearing thin…If you want to read Scripture more deeply and honestly…
This episode is for you.
Not everything that looks good belongs at the centre.Date cake or raisin cake.No mixtures.

It felt like sadness.Like something breaking open.Like realising that what you now know to be trueis not what you wanted it to be.
In this episode of the Jules4Jesus Podcast, we talk honestly about: Why clarity can feel painful instead of comforting; How God’s Word brings truth without condemnation; The difference between conviction and condemnation; Why obedience sometimes feels like loss before it feels like freedom; How to walk in obedience without wounding hearts and how to carry truth with the character of Jesus
